Happy 1st Birthday Nolan!!

One year ago today... it was a lucky day for the world!

Our little man was born in Colombia!

The last 6 weeks I have been praying that we would get 

to come and get you before you turned 1... but God must have a great reason for 

you to spend your first birthday in Colombia.  Someday maybe we will learn what that was...

We spent today praying for you, and hoping that we would receive the news that 

we could officially start the countdown til we could hold you in our arms.

And we got the best news today!

You are officially going to be a part of our family!

You have been a part of it since we first saw your sweet face and were matched to you last month,

but today, we received the news that you are truly coming to our family!

We will have a real birthday party for you when we see you in Colombia,

but until then, Mason wanted to celebrate with a cupcake (shocking!).

And try on his new big brother shirt...

Looks good on him!  Now we have to get you a little brother one...hmm...
