This is how we are all feeling about waiting another 3 years to be matched with our child ;) We did finish the second round of paperwork and are proud to say that we now have an official extension for our I600 so that is taken care of again for another 18 months. We have sent off an updated homestudy to Colombia and will need to be fingerprinted again in September.
We did just celebrate our 3 year family day with Mason this week...and it did remind me that 3 years really does go so fast! not when you are thinking about it but I cannot believe that it has been 3 years since we brought him home from Gautemala! Other than waiting for the next list to be posted (so we can track how long our wait might be) we are enjoying our summer and getting ready to send Mason off to preschool this fall :( Hoping that we get to travel to Colombia before he hits the 1st grade so that we won't feel so bad about taking him out of school for 6-8 weeks to travel!

Megan, just wanted to say that Mason is a cutie pie and I can't believe how big he is getting!! I'm praying you guys get "the call" sooner than expected! Who knows, right? And maybe if you get to go to a smaller city than Bogotá, like Cali or Medellin, you won't have such a long stay! Best of luck!
Congrats on having your son home 3 years. He is a cutie! Our son has been home from Guatemala 8 1/2 years now. He was 2 when we started the adoption process for Colombia and we traveled 2 weeks after he started kindergarten. The 3 years waiting for Angelica seemed like eternity but the 4 years since bringing her home has flown by.
Love the expression on Mason! I know exactly how he feels :)
